Today, 3rd, December 2024, Police Scotland Angels attended Kirkcaldy Police Station to lay fresh flowers and pay respect to the young men who lost their lives while in custody of Kirkcaldy Police Station.
Today, 21st Day of February 2024, Police Scotland Angels held a small gathering to commemorate the anniversary of Stephen “Spike” Campbell’s passing. Stephen died in police custody at Kirkcaldy Police Station on February 22, 2022. The families of three other men who lost their lives involving Kirkcaldy police were:-
Sheku Bayoh: He tragically passed away 8 years ago.
Marc Hamilton: His death occurred 4 years ago.
Joseph Sneddon: He lost his life 2 years ago.
These families continue to endure despair and anguish as they await answers.
The Police Investigations and Review Commissioner (PIRC), which has been deemed unfit for purpose, is responsible for investigating these incidents.
Tragically, another death occurred at the same police station:
Scott Hooper, who passed away on January 22, 2024.
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all those affected by these losses
