Concerns have been raised over the structure of the legal system operating within Scotland. This Constitutional Briefing Memorandum on the role of the Lord Advocate in Scotland was submitted in June 2025 to Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Angela Constance, Cabinet Secretary for Justice and home Affairs. To date we have not received a response.
